Friday the 13th was a lucky day for some of our new residents!

Steve from Milton’s, in North Raleigh, treated everyone to scrumptious antipasto salad, pizza’s and desserts. We welcome you to the Stonehenge family and thanks to Steve and Milton’s for a great evening.

It’s your favorite day of the month! The time has come again for Papa John’s to serve Stonehenge residents up a delicious slide of pizza heaven!

Tonight at 5:30 pm… swing by the clubhouse for a large Papa John’s Pizza at only $6.00. There will be wings available as well but get it while it’s hot! Forget about cooking dinner! Let Stonehenge and Papa John’s take care of it for you!

At the mere mention of cupcakes my mind tends to rush back to childhood memories of picnics, birthday parties and family reunions. There is something about those sweet handfuls of cakey goodness that just make me smile. Now that time has replaced the kid-filled birthday parties with bridal luncheons and baby showers I am thankful that cupcakes have lasted for more “grown-up festivities! I can’t believe that summer is almost over. It’s kind of depressing, but there are still some great things to look forward to before the fall!

Midtown Music has been hosting their Beach Music Series all summer long and there are still three concerts left for you to enjoy! All summer long, Thursday nights have been nothing but great beach music and FUN.  The series has featured the beast beach music bands like Catalinas and Castaways but if you ask me, they’ve saved the best for last! Here’s a quick look at the last three concerts:

• Thursday August 12 – Part Time Party Time Band
• Thursday August 19 – Jim Quick and the Coastline
• Thursday August 26- The Embers

What did I tell you? BEST FOR LAST!  Concerts kick off at 6:00 pm at the Commons at North Hills Shopping Center. If you aren’t here on Thursday nights, you aren’t having fun… at least not as much as we are! So take these next few weeks to wish a fond farewell to summer and let the Beach Music Series help you!  Get a big group of friends from Stonehenge or bring the whole family along.
